I bet you've no idea where your tax dollars are even going, just so long as they are going towards the "war on terror." It is ridiculous how little the majority of the people know about the parsing of moneys from tax. Take a look into it and then reply on this post with something edifying. And what is so political about redirecting more money to lifting children out of poverty? Wow, some of you have been misled, and what's worse is you have families! Thanks for talking sense kickee.

It's nice to see Ben & Jerry's reviving the social aspect of the principles behind their delicious ice cream. And if you don't like it, don't bitch about it just don't buy it. Who says they're alienating half the country? They're attacking one of the more doubtful points on the republican agenda. Half of America voted republican, but that doesn't mean half of America agrees with every point on their agenda (certainly this "war on terror" scam they're running). In fact Ben & Jerry's is talking about a issue that a lot of people are worried about (children, education, poverty,...) Democrat OR Republican.
And yes we do need to spend our tax dollars saving the purple-horned toot bird.

Good idea...let's cut defense spending now right in the middle of the war on terror. And then the Islamic extremists will see how compassionate we are and we can all hold hands and eat apple pie ice cream together and sing Kum-Ba-Yah while all our tax dollars go to save the purple-horned toot bird.
