As of 2/08 Choxie has went with a new manufacturer for a few of its truffle collections. Although the packaging remains unchanged, the contents are dramatically improved. Some of the previous truffles were horrible tasting. The new truffles are delicious. Forget the old choxie....these new truffles are well worth trying. Good Quality Chocolate!!! You'll be pleasantly surprised to get this quality from a store like Target. This is something you'd expect from boutique. The Dessert Collection is amazing!!

Some of you people either are too demanding or have higher expectations that a product developed by TARGET can provide. That said, someo fthe flavors are kinda odd or even blah but some are AMAZING. Key Lime, Raspberry Crunch, Strawberry, Cinnimon Carnel, Firey Pineapple, Pear just to name a few, are DEFINATELY worth trying :) I just picked up a box of the holiday collection truffles today hehe :)

Someon easked about the name...the commercial says it is chocolate with moxie...well, after research I found out Moxie is a soda in Maine, but this is not made with soda...moxie is a word in the dictionary meaning spirited, so, it is a cute name if you already know what it means or are nerdy like me and go look it up...too much work for one little product..lol I have not tried them yet but my fav is Lindt Lindor Truffles so it'd have to be beeter than those!

I just went into the refrigerator and noticed my roommates had a box of Choxie Truffles in raspberry lemon cookie, espresso, and a couple of other flavors. Well... I stole about 2... hehe. I love them! The flavor was super! Anybody who has complaints must be nuts because I worked at Godiva. And I know how good chocolate tastes!!!

I tried the chocolate truffles with flakes and a rasberry lemon biscotti bar. They were disgusting. The truffles were greasy (what do you expect with partially hydrogenated oil, which means cheap chocolate). The lemon flavor tasted like detergent. The packaging nice... but good marketing on a shit product was all it was.

When I saw the commercial I was sure it was for some new perfume scents. I was extremely disappointed to see that it was just chocolate. I will not spend my money on a company who clearly spent a lot of money just to mislead me about what in tarnation these "choxie" things actually are.
p.s. but maybe if they decide to make a choxie perfume and come up with an equally stupid marketing scheme I'll spend my money there instead.

for my birthday, my roommate bought me the "connoisseur's collection."
i'm not kidding it's so friggin amazzzzing.
i'm nowhere near done with it (i mean i only got it last night. thank heavens... i'm supposed to be on a diet...)

After seeing the goofy, goofy commercial ("oooh, CHOXIE!") so many times, my wife and I finally decided to try it yesterday. I tried the chocolate chipotle truffle bar...just tasted like everyday dark chocolate. My wife tried peanut butter bites (or something like that), which were a little better. Not sure if we'll try any more...but lose that damn stupid commercial!!

Just tried some Peanut Butter big bites. No better in quality then reese's, at about 3-4x the price. (Reese's runs $.59 for two cups, choxie $2 for two bites). Seems like Choxie is putting all their budget into packaging design instead of chocolate.

I love the Choxie Cinnamon Redgolds, I bought them from the clearance rack for 74 cents! They were so good I went back the next day and bought the remaining two packages. They totally rock. I wish I could get more of them, but evidentally they are just a Christmas thing only. I'm very sad.

After receiving a box of artisan truffle tiles, I was so excited! I had wanted to try some choxie ever since that commercial on tv! Well, I've only tried one piece so far and I wasn't very pleased. The apple pie filling was delicious! It tasted just like an apple pie, but the chocolate wasn't good at all. It had a waxy texture and a digusting flavor. It tasted very cheap!

Just wanted to drop a line and tell you that not only does Choxie taste good. It also can make a perfect party game. I took Choxie as a party favor to a friends happy hour and within a few drinks the Choxie chocolate covered cinnamon candies were a huge hit. Let's just say my friend will be finding hidden Choxie all over her house for days to come.

After inhaling $150 worth of Choxie,I am sold! These are some of the best chocolates we have ever had -- we being nine friends and relatives.Leaving aside the"faddy" items, the chocolate itself is superb,especially the truffles.This has to be some of the smoothest and creamiest chocolate available. The only other chocolates that come close are the ones we've had in Switzerland and Belgium.Actually, some of their products DO come from Belgium, and possibly Switzerland!
After twelve pounds, and 26 different varieties of Choxie, we are ready for MORE, MORE, MORE!

Even though I think Choxie is a really stupid name for chocolate, I thought I would try some because it was on sale. I have to say I was not real impressed. The peppermint bark was a little waxy and lacked good choco-mint flavor. So between the name and the five minutes it took me to get it out of the wrapper, I think it would have had to be smooth as silk for me to approve.

The packaging and marketing of Choxie is exceptional however, the products are cheap imitations that Target buyers copied from quality manufacturers. Target should be exposed for their lack of ethics on this front. They literally stole designs of products and in some instances packaging from several U.S. companies using our time, money, and ideas. Shame on them!

Oh my stars!!!

I've been seeing the Target ads for a couple of months now and decided I really wanted to try some Choxie!!

Since my birthday is this month, anyone that asked what I wanted was answered with "Choxie". So far, I've received 6 bars!! And I've another week to go before the big day! Woo-hoo!

So far, I've only tried the Espresso Truffle. Can you say WOO-HOO!!! LOVE IT!!! It taste just like the dark covered espresso beans minus the 'crunch'. Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Major Yum!!

The only one I've tried is the Espresso Truffle Bar, and it is DELICIOUS! The dark chocolate is wonderful and the espresso flavor is subtle but tasty. I highly recommend it, and I can't wait to try others. I agree that these will replace my usual Godiva stocking stuffers.

I just tried the dark chocolate flakey truffles and am not really impressed. I expected more. The best dark chocolate I have had is Green and Blacks organic 70% dark chocolate. This was like a Hershey's kiss knock off. I will try a few other products though, just to give them a fair chance. Those tiles are very exotic looking and I have to give them a shot.
