My wife took me for my birthday, and I had 8 refills of the scampi, alfredo, and when I got to the coconut shrimp my mouth was on fire. My husband took me to Red Lobster for my birthday and I tried the "coconut shrimp bites" as part of their Endless Shrimp promotion.<BR/><BR/>I'd never had their coconut shrimp and the little bites were AMAZINGLY tasty ... but the one thing I didn't like was that they had a bit of an afterburn. After each one, I'd have to take a drink because it was so hot (hot as in spicy not hot as in "from the oven").<BR/><BR/>I've looked up recipes online and nobody mentions their coconut shrimp having a kick.
