I never had these before, nor even thought about doing this. But seeing that I'm really into spicy foods these days, I was intrigued.
I'm sorry the photos below are of a poor quality, but I only had my cell phone camera.
1. Slice several jalapenos in half, and scoop out the seeds
2. Filled the slices with Philadelphia Cream Cheese
3. Using toothpicks, attach small slices of bacon.
4. Bake in an oven at 400 degrees for about 15-30 minutes, depending on how crispy you like the bacon.
Baking the jalapenos tend to make them less spicy. I didn't really find these to be all that hot, but still very delicious.

Those look absolutely delicious!
agreed.... i will make some soon. I am going to add a little bit of cheddar though beneath the cream cheese
I love that you used cream cheese. I usually make these with cheddar, but only some of the people in my family can eat them because they are still super spicy, but using the cream cheese really cuts the heat and coats the tongue a bit, especially for my younger eaters. Thanks!
If making a lot of these, be sure and wear latex gloves...I learned this the hard way.
These look really delicious! I must give them a try!!!
Look absolutely delicious.
The title of this alone makes my mouth water! I cannot wait to make these!
To me, junk food is chips, cheesies, chocolate - not veggies and cheese. This snack sounds almost like a vegetarian side dish and I think I can't wait to try it!
Hi Steve, Wow. This recipe looks great. I definitely want to try it. I am a fan of Jalepeno pepper, bacon and cheese. Thanks and great job with your blog. I hope you post more soon!

These look delicious. I love jalapeno poppers.
I don't halve the jalapenos- i hollow them out, and stuff with crab meat and cream cheese mixed together, then wrap with bacon slice and grill. I have a jalapeno roaster!
