• Jones Soda is way ahead of the curve on this one. They switch over from corn syrup to cane sugar because it makes the soda taste better.

• I look forward to the real thing too (heh) - but sugar is still fattening and diabetes causing if consumed in mass quantities, which U.S. soda drinkers tend to do. What other (besides possibly Canada) has 64oz drink buckets?
  
  I learned in Europe that a soda/pop, 6/8oz - once in awhile was way more satisfying then the overindulgence I learned (chose) in the U.S.
