I've had these and they're great. I'm in Central Texas and have only found them at one convenience store, but I'm still looking. With just the one bag I had, I've become addicted!

I found these at one of the convenience stores on the BGSU campus in ohio. Quite excellent. Seriously hoping this isn't some limited time only thing.

I picked these up by chance at a HomeDepot convenience store, and now I'm hooked. Man, these things are great. Too bad they're only available in the 3.5 oz. bag. I need more..............

Haven't found them anywhere else. What gives??? Check 'em out - you won't be sorry.

These are very good and I am also hooked...only find them at the Valero
convenience store in San Antonio...specifically at the one on Potranco Rd. and !604.....

Just happened to run into these on a business trip to Nebraska, apparently they are not available nationwide. They are delicious. A great blending of salt and sweet. You must be the type of person who truly enjoys a good blending of flavors. Highly recommended, if you can find them.

Anonymous said...

They are so good. I had them at a store in Florida. However, I have been unable to find them anywhere in Pennsylvania where I live now.

I just had one little caramel bugle and I want to know where to buy a BIG bag!! I'm in Sacramento, CA.

I got hooked on them on a trip to Kansas City. I found a wholesaler who was willing to ship them to me COD - Glidewell Distributing in Fort Smith, AR. They gave me a GREAT price on them. Their number is 1-800-733-4408.

We bought an itty bitty bag of these scrumptious bites while driving through Wyoming on I80. I looked everywhere in Salt Lake but found only the small bags. Not enough! Where can I get a case of these wonderful snacks?

Anonymous said...

Like everyone else I am hooked. I manage a convienent store. We recieved them in a test shipment and have not been able to order them agian. I work for the Pantry chain of stores. All of our stores received them at one time. I too have not been able find them anywhere else.

Okay, I have to give my kudos on these, too. They are the BEST!!! I found them at a Super America/Speedway gas station in central Kentucky while travelling on vacation. I'm now back home and have tried four grocery stores to no avail. I think I'm going to go hit the convenience stores next! Also am going to try the General Mills website for more info.

I found the Bugles in Casey's Convenience Store in Kansas. In fact I bought all they had on the shelf since they are hard to find.

I tried my first bag while at Hollywood Video (Houston, TX) renting movies, and since then I've been thinking about them ever since. I even dragged my wife to Wal-Mart and Walgreens looking for them, but no luck, so I headed back to the video store to pick up two bags, and by reading these posts, I'll be going back for more soon. I'll post again if I find more locations that carries them :)

Anonymous said...

My sister has these on her Christmas list. She has a note that the only place she can find them here is Hollywood Video. I thought it would be easier to find, but now after reading all these posts, I guess I'll be going to Hollywood Video and stocking up! And I'll definitely have to try them for myself! I'll also post if I find them anywhere else - our city is loaded with convenience stores and gas stations!

Anonymous said...

These are only available in convenience stores (and Hollywood Video, I guess), and are not sold in grocery stores. You won't be able to find them at a grocery store, but they should be available in most convenience stores. If they don't have them in your favorite convenience store, ask the owner to order them. They're available through all the major convenience store distributors.

I emailed General Mills. Here's the response:
***The Caramel Bugles are only available at Club Stores and vending machines right now. Please check your local Costco, Sam's Club, or BJ's warehouse. If you cannot locate it at either of these stores, we suggest speaking with a store manager for further assistance. ***
In the Twin Cities area, I have personally checked 3 Sam's and 1 Costco to NO avail! Just emailed General Mills again...

Well with all the comments that everyone is leaving it SEEMS like General Mills should start selling them nationwide and at grocery stores. I have been only able to find them at ONE 7-11 store and I bought EVERY BAG THEY HAD! Carmel Bugles are definitely my new addiction!

Rick said...

if you have a 99 cent only store near you , you may be in luck.
They sell the 3.5 oz bags for 99 cents. The clerk looked at me oddly when I purchased 10 bags. My wife calls it crack snacks, lol.

The caramel Bugles are the best. That old saying I bet you can't eat just one should have been the slogan for this product. Can you tell me why Walmart dosesn't sell this product yet? Where in Pascagoula, MS can I purchase this product other than Family Frozen Food.

I knew I wasn't the only on addicted to these snacks. I purchased them from our work vending machine too. And I too said, when they bring them back, I'm going to buy ALL of them because I can't find them anywhere else. I'm in Birmingham, AL. I was so happy to learn there is a website where I can buy a case. I going to it right now.

Thank you!

And I haven't found them any where else in town!. Does ordering them monthly from nationwidecandy.com make me an addict? You betcha it does!

I love them. They are hard to find, so when I do locate them I buy as many bags as I can, because, not only do I love them so does my children as well as my grandchildren. What myself and daughter does is:each time we go to a different store we look for them. If I find them I call my daughter and if she find them she call me. Of course we run to the store to get a couple of bags.

Has anyone found a place to order these besides Nation wide candy? I placed a order with them 2 weeks ago they charged my account the next day (not supposed to do that until item ships). I just got the box today. I'm at work craving something sweet in walks UPS I could taste those suckers when I opened the box up I had a sleeve of coffe cups, lids and hot wraps! When I called them they said box them back up we will pick them up tomorrow and send the bugles out. No apology nothing. I'm very disappointed.

For any of you in the Virginia/Maryland/Pennsylvania area, any Sheetz store has them. $2.19/bag, which, for some reason, is significantly more expensive than the original or cheese flavors.

FYI, for those who haven't tried them yet, they are absolutely delicious! I'm addicted. I can't wait to order boxes of them! For my whole office and as XMAS stocking stuffers.

This is the first time I have ever tried to find a product online and for that matter a blog, but these carmel bugles are like crack! I am so addicted to them. I live in Southern California and can't find them anywhere. I had my first bag at an airport in Michigan. I ate the whole bag in 5minutes. As soon as I got off the plane I was looking for them everywhere at LAX. None to be found. I found them again at a Hollywood Video and grabbed all 8 bags they had. If anyone knows of a place in Southern California that has them let me know.

Hey! Did you know you can make caramel bugles? There is a recipe for caramel corn puffs and all you have to do is swap out corn puffs for bugles. If you do a search on caramel corn puffs, you will find several variations. This is the one I like best.

Recipe: Caramel Corn Puffs

CARAMEL CORN PUFFS

1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 bag corn puffs (or bugles)

Put corn puffs in turkey roaster and preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Put butter, brown sugar and syrup in medium saucepan and melt. Bring to a full boil. Turn heat down and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add baking soda and stir until foamy.

Pour mixture over Old Dutch Corn Puffs and stir to coat thoroughly. Put in oven for 1 hour, uncovered. Stir every 15 minutes.

Pour onto waxed paper and spread out. Let cool. Break up chunks and store in large
ziplock bags.

put them on vanilla ice cream. you will not regret it.

These are so mmmmm good! I also wish they sold them in big bags but maybe that's better they don't, lol In Wisconsin they sell these bags only at the kwik trip stores so try looking there in your states. Good luck my fellow Sweet & Salty Caramel Bugle Buddies! LOL

I'm surprised that so many people, like myself, are addicted to caramel bugels. Anytime I find them at a convenient store I buy all they have. I haven't been able to find any the past couple of days. Today I went to 4 different convenient stores and only found one bag. I'm going to try ordering online. I did ask a store manager to increase the amount of these they order. They get them in once a week and they sell out the day they get them. I'm not the only one in this town crazy about them! Let's hope they start making big bags and sell them in the supermarket.

Anonymous said...

I love these things!!! I am addicted! Like many of you on here, I found my first bag at a gas station store while driving from NJ to FL, although I forgot where that store was lol. Anyway, I found them in a 7-11 in FL and when I got back home to NJ, found them in a 7-11 here. I bought 4 bags! I am going back to that 7-11 and buying the rest of their supply!!! Now every convenience store/gas station/7-11 I pass I will be going in to find them!!!

Anonymous said...

These great snacks are now available for a much lower price than you pay at the truck stops. They come in cartons of 60 - 1.4 oz. bags for only $1.00 per bag. That is about half what you pay at the truck stops and convenience stores. Order them at http://www.getsomehealth.com/shop

Anonymous said...

I just checked the getsomehealth website and found the prices for the caramel bugles have been reduced to $40 per carton. That is a great price compared to the $1.99 per bag price I paid at q convenience storee that ast time I found some. Even with shipping cost, the price is way lower per bag.

Anonymous said...

These are delicious! In Oklahoma you can find them in the Family Videos. I would love to buy a big bag, someone at General Mills i hope you're reading these and getting to work distributing more of these out!
