Pringles SelectProctor & Gamble is now offering a new kind of Pringles known as, "Pringles Select".

It's like a gourmet line of their famous potato crisp.

Pictured here is the "Cinnamon Sweet Potato Crisp", which they describe as follows...

"By adding a sparkle of cinnamon spice, this candy-like treat will have your taste buds delighted to the ultimate snack."

Other varieties include "Parmesan Garlic Potato Crisps", "Sun Dried Tomato Potato Crisps", and "Szechuan Barbecue Rice Crisps".

You can get them in 5.5oz bags priced between $2.49 and $2.99. There's also an 8oz bag variety as well.

  • Pringles Select sounds like a joke. But I'll probably buy these if they come my way! Or I may soon find them in my local Big Lots.

  • i'm pretty much addicted.
the szechuan barbecue leaves an aftertaste as if i just left a real chinese restaurant, and the other flavors taste like the things that their names describe, as opposed to so many other chip/snack flavors.
give these a try. or not.
for three bucks a bag, the price is a little high.

  • I tried the Szechuan Barbecue flavor, and now I'm hopelessly addicted. The taste is unique, unlike any other snack I've ever tried...and I've tried a lot... Good texture, pleasing aftertaste (almost better than the taste itself) and just the right amount of heat. I think "Barbecue" in the name is misleading, though; these aren't anything like the typical BBQ chip.

  • Saw the Pringles Select "Szechuan Barbecue Rice Crisps" at the local Wal-Mart. Wow, they taste like General Tso's chicken! I think I'd definately try the others.

  • Pringles Select are GREAT! At least the sweet potatoe and cinnamon one really caught my attention. Ever had pie crust cookies? Where you flatten out the crust and put cinnamon and sugar on the crust, cut it and bake on a cookie sheet? That is what these remind me of!! They are great... or like the taste of pumpkin pie crust.. I don't want them to go away!!!
