Athenos Baked Pita Chips

Athenos Baked Pita ChipsKraft Foods recently added a line of Baked Pita Chips to its Athenos brand.

They're described as the "ultimate dipping chip" made from fresh pita bread, baked and seasoned to perfection. The chips have 50% less fat than leading brands of potato chips.

Varieties include, "Original", "Roasted Garlic & Herb", and "Whole Wheat".

Athenos Baked Pita Chips are presented in 6 oz. bags with a suggested retail price of $2.99.

  • The Athenos Pita Chips are awesome!! MY favorite is the whole wheat but my roommates devoured the Roasted Garlic. The Original was good with salsa.

  • TOO CRUCHY. You could break a tooth!
    But, they taste great! I found mine in the gormet section of my Randalls store. I wish they would make the chips thinner!

  • I think the whole wheat chips are great. I found them in the Sun fresh supermarket in Kansas city.

  • I love the original flavor. The problem is that Walmart in Valdosta GA used to carry them and now they dont. Where can I get them?

  • I love the Athenos brand & they have fewer calories & fat grams than the Stacy brand...I like them both about the same But I go for the less fat & calories.. Plus they are cheapper...I get mine at Wal Mart...Piggly Wiggly's usually have them also...
