Fujiwa Chocolate Cat's Tongue

Fujiwa Chocolate Cat's TongueJapanese food maker, Fujiwa, has a new series of chocolate confections out utilizing the cat's tongue theme.

The solid chocolate pieces are said to be very thinly cut, and in shape of a cat's tongue.

Platinum Cats is described as milk chocolate with a hint of salt providing a refreshing aftertaste.

Blonde Cats is a slightly bitter semi-sweet chocolate with vanilla aroma.

There's also Safari Cats and Envy Cats, not sure what they are.

Envy Cats is mild chocolate with vanilla & coconut flavor. Safari Cats is bittersweet chocoalte with cinnamon, clove, and black pepper.

BTW, the manufacturer is Fujiya, not Fujiwa.

I picked up the Envy Cats while I was in NYC. They're not bad.

I wish I'd seen the safari cats or blonde cats... that sounds good.

I think they're a takeoff on the Eastern European "Kitten Tongues" which are just tongue shaped chocolates in packages with cute kitties on them.

I would love to get the Platinum Cats for a friend. Anyone know the name of a store or a company where I can order them? Thanks!
