Schwan's Bakery, Inc. has added a new Vanilla Bean variety to its line of cheesecake slices under its Edwards Ready-to-Eat brand.
My wife bought a chocolate and vinilla bean cheesecake and
I told her to toss them out. Not close to good. Return them to Jewel and tell our friends not to buy any Edwards products.

I think that the Edwards Original NEW YORK Cheesecake is delicious, whereas it's OTHER Original Cheesecake, NOT NEW YORK, isn't worth eating. If this new Vanilla Bean Cheesecake is similar to the NEW YORK, then I expect it to be good, whereas if it's similar to that OTHER one, then forget it. The Edwards Key Lime Pie is much better than the new Sarah Lee Key Lime Pie. However, the only Edwards that I really like, which is VERY good, is the NEW YORK cheesecake, which is offered only in the two-individual-servings ($1.89 at Walmart, $2.59 at Sweet Bay, $2.69 at Publix), NOT as an entire full-size cheesecake.
