Hardee's Red Burrito Taco SaladHardee's today announced the introduction of a new entree salad, "Red Burrito Taco Salad".

Looking through the ingredients, it's pretty much the same taco salad you'd expect to find at most places: a bowl-shaped tortilla shell, filled with seasoned ground beef, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, shredded lettuce, refried beans, sour cream, hot sauce and spicy pico de gallo salsa.

According to their press release, it's actually the same taco salad they've been testing in several restaurants. It's now official.

  • What's with the tv ad with the blond semi driver? Is that the same girl that was in the McDonalds chicken sandwich tv ad who says "chee-can"?

  • What could Hardee's be thinking with this awful ad for their new Red Burrito Taco Salad?? The sight of a scanky, 21-year old blond (pretending to be a truck driver, no less!)cramming her cheeks full of taco meat and sour cream with dirty fingers does nothing but turn my stomach. Sex is, in NO WAY, selling the product here!!

  • That new Hardee's commercial for the "Red taco salad" with the girl truck driver makes me gag a little, but the song is stuck in my head! Does anyone know who sings it or the name of the song?!

  • i guess nobody appreciates a pretty tomboy around here.

anyhow, the song is "dollar in my pocket" from the come ons' "hip check!"

  • This salad is so good!. I am a picky eater and I won't eat just anything. I have eaten this salad atleast 10 times already. What i love about it is i can heat it up and it taste good. Hot salad yummy! I am usually not of fan of taco meat but this is great. Try it especially if you are a salad person. You will like it. I wish I could find the taco bowls in the store I would eat this salad everyday for lunch.

Also I was wondering about that commercial. Wasn't the girl chowing down on it. That's how I am! I like seeing small girls with a hearty appetite.

  • I LOVE CALIFORNIA TORTILLA. Whenever I go there I get one of their steak burrito's and my dad gets a blackened chicken casear with crunch BBZ Ranch or Honey Lime dressing. It's so goooooood.

  • hearing about hardees taco salad makes me want to go my favorite place to eat, california tortilla. if you all haven't been there then let me tell you it doesn't compare to that salad. It comes with free chips, salsa and guac and they're popping up in locations all around. look out for it, because its great, fast food.

  • why eat a burrito bowl at Hardees when you can eat a burrito or bowl from California Tortilla, much better quality than fast food, they definatly give Chipotle a run for their money.
