Arby's Roast BeefYou'd think they would've done this a lot sooner! Arby's, the fast-food chain known for its roast beef sandwiches, is coming out with a french dip sandwich.

The new sandwich will contain the same roast beef it uses for many of its sandwiches, but will be slapped together on a french roll, and accompanied by a side of au jus sauce.

The French Dip Sandwich will be available in Arby's restaurants for a limited time beginning September 26, 2005.

  • They sold this last year. It was pretty gross.

  • I've been eating Arby's French Dip sandwiches since about 15 years ago. Now admittedly I have only been to Arby's once in the last few years, so I'm not really familiar with their menu these days, but this is at best a re-introduction. Probably just trying to drum up some press.

I remember them being pretty good, but who knows.

  • How come you're so far behind the curve? Arby's has been serving french dip sandwiches for as long as 20 years or so, although not all restaurants have carried them. It all depends upon the demands of the customers in each store.
